i5 idle temps

Temps have dropped quite a bit, must have been the thermal not fully settled in I guess? The only thing I changed last night was I put the pump connecter into the second CPU_FAN header and set it to run at 100% and I have a feeling it wasn't doing this in the other CHA_FAN header.

Either way I guess a pair of venom fans for a push/pull config will bring even lower temps? Does anyone know which length screws I'd need to install an additional fan on the h50?

I found that core temp wasn't that accurate, with HW monitor it seems to give a more accurate reading, my idle temps with core temp were about 4 degrees lower, with HW monitor they idle around 34 - 35 degrees which seems to be about right from what ive read for an ivybridge 3570k.

Thanks mate will give that a try!

I was lazy and just used 2 of the screws from one fan for the other :p.

That's a good idea, cheers :D

Something is very wrong. reset the bios completely and test again.

I've reset the bios mate but it didnt change things much.

I'm tempted to try a new cooler, question is, which one?
