Looks really nice but i would hang fire for at least 6 weeks,to see what people come up with ,and how they run.

if i were you i would go outside into the shelter and chill out.

there is not many I5 coolers out yet, however i m sure you can get a adaptor...or make one :P

I m waiting for titan to hurry with with the adaptor or even hit us with a new cooler for I5 :P

one problem is a lot say they work wiht i7 which in some cases also applies for the i5 if u are using 1156 ofc.. But some only say 1156 which does not techincally mean it will work with the i5.. Quite an annoyance.

If it says it works with socket 1156 then it will work with either a Lynfield I5 or an I7, the mountings are exactly the same, they are in the same socket. The only differance between those cpu's is one supports hyper-threading and one does not, I believe there is one other minor differance but I can't remember what it is right now, something to do with hardware virtualisation tech I think.

The LGA1366 socket and Core I7 Bloomfield cpu's are different though, and a cooler designed for that socket will not work on an LGA 1156 socket unless it says that it will. Coolers are almost always categorised by the socket they are designed for, not the specific cpu.

So if it says it's for socket 1156, it does indeed technically mean it will work with any Lynfield cpu, I5 or I7, as they are technically the same bar Hyper-threading.

And your original spec list looks fine.
