Hello all,

Let's start with my current PC specs:

Case: Antec 900
CPU: I7 2600k Sandy bridge - Currently at Stock 3.4ghz
COOLER: Corsair Hydro H80i
MOBO: Asus P8P67 PRO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz
GFX: MSI GeForce GTX 760 OC 2048MB
SSD: Kingston HyperX Savage (240GB)
SSD (SPARE): 60gb OCZ
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
MONITOR: BENQ 144hz monitor

Im looking to do a small upgrade to my pc however struggling to decide what i actually could do with replacing.

I play csgo/dota2 and recently started streaming, I am noticing FPS lag/drops below 100 whilst streaming. Ideally i'd like to be able to have smooth gameplay whilst also streaming/recording at the best quality and maximum settings in-game whilst maintaining atleast 120 solid frames (ideally over 144)

I have 100d/6u internet and would like to stream best quality that i can.

I am currently playing in max res 1920x1080 and noticing FPS lag on generally high settings (minus AAA etc..).

I think that either way i will be upgrading my PC case to the corsair 750D (although a bit pricey) and i am just looking for suggestions. I also plan to OC my CPU to 4.5ghz as this is something i've not had a chance to do with moving house etc and think it would greatly help the performance.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm debating wether the CPU is worth upgrading at this point. I've had it for around about 4 years now. Obviously anything i can do to improve performance with my current spec would be ideal and save the need for upgrading.

Any suggestions appreciated! Thank you

Upgrade to a 980ti and overclock the CPU. My older system has a 2600k @ 4.8ghz and it's still a very good cpu. If your staying at 1080p a cheaper card would make more sense, but if your planning on moving up get a 980ti and be happy. Maybe another 8gb of ram would help too.

Same as the above really you could lok at a new case plus a better aio cooler ie h100i or custom water with your extra money with a new gpu and clock the life from it

How much you looking at spending ?

Personally I'd go with what everyone is saying, but I'd get a https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-147-GI&groupid=701&catid=1914 and a 250 GB SSD with the saving.

Budget was around £300 but looking at the gfx cards selling at the mo I'm thinking about 400-450 with the case I had in mind.

So far looks like the gtx 970 is a good shout, maybe an extra 8gb of ram + oc my cpu to at least 4.5ghz?

Gonna have a crack at oc tonight and fiddle with my launch options on csgo. I may just change the res for now to achieve smoother gameplay!
