i7 4790k help

configure your windows power plan so that the minimum processor state (or whatever its called) is 5%. That'll let your CPU run as low as 800MHz with around 0.8v at idle.

Using a ASRock Extreme4 board.
 
right done some messing with my 4790k & asus board and managed to get idle temps around 32 / 35c

load 59 / 61c

asus multicore enhancement disabled
cpu core ratio sync all cores
cpu multiplier 44

turn turbo mode off

cpu core voltage adaptive and to 1.178

cpu cache voltage 1.2

cpu input voltage 1.8

pch voltage 1.05

also
