i7 920 getting really hot!

Using the XSPC R/D 750 4 months old here, if he places his fingers on the reservior he should feel vibrations if the pump is still working. Also he could still have air trapped in the loop i:e - Rad.
4.2ghz with a CO stepping chip and 12gb of ram is pretty unrealistic.
you might get 4.0ghz with 6bg of ram installed.
3.8ghz with 12gb of ram is about par for these chips.
A DO stepping would probably get you to 4.0ghz with 12gb ram,4.2ghz would require a quite special imc.

I'm not really too bothered about all that right now, i was always happy with 3.8 but not when the system hits 95C and gives me a 124 under load. There is a very light vibration when I place my fingers on the reservoir, and I have also held the one of the tubes before and after starting the machine, it seems to be flowing. Not really sure what I should do about it at this point -- I still haven't reseated the CPU block.
