Hi,

I'm running an i7 920 @ 4.11 mainly to get the most out of my CPU for BF3. I do not do anything else with this machine but game.

I run on a P6T deluxe V2 board.

Does anyone have any advice on get 4.2/4.3 on this particular board?

Current setttings for a stable 4.11 is:

x 21
bclk 195
cVore 1.4v
cpu pll 196
dram/qpi 1.375

dramm 1.66

I've tried to get to 4.2 by uping bclk to 200 and setting ioh voltages but get either 101 or 124 error codes.

I'm running an H50 and get into the 85c in IBT.

Does anyone have any advice to get a little more?

Get on Google mate. There are some thorough guides out there. Once you get into tweaking more than just the standard stuff you can get some really high clocks without pushing the vcore up too much ;)

The 920 is a beast once you appreciate that you need to tweak lots and not just the standard stuff only

The settings will be different based on the CPU, mobo and memory, although I doubt your memory is affecting this.

For instance, I'm on an i7 950, and I can;t get it to be stable at anything over 4.2. I've tried overclocking based on BCLK and multi, and I get the same result - 4.2. It's stable for short periods above this, but ultimately fails, and as I fold, that's downtime when it BSOD's so mine's got to be 100% prime stable 24/7.

Have you cross referenced the BSOD codes?

it's an iterative process which you'll need patience and time to find the right settings. Ultimately you'll find a value you can;t go above - and I think you may already have found it if you're at 1.4v. Beyond that you're going into short term one off run territory like the overclockers who get up to 6+GHz get.
