specs in sig.

worth me selling my i7 920 c0/c1 and grabbing an i7 950?

Thinking if the 920 can sell for 150-160? I still have box, original fan etc all in perfect condition. The 950 will prolly cost from 220-240 which means I'm not shelling out that much.

my 920 can hit 4ghz but it's far too hot for normal 24/7 usage. 3.8 ghz is pretty much as far as I would go for 24/7 use.

Not too sure how my mobo would perform with the 950 though.

i7 9xx @ 3.8 GHz destroys everything, why would you want to upgrade? Save your money and take a look at the high-end Sandy Bridge setups this time next year, IMO.

prolly best thing to do yeh, wait.

As for the thread moomoo, I've the c0, it's not the same as d0, thus cannot be compared to 930 950.

I suppose it's not worth shelling out~ £90 jus for average 400-500Mhz on the core >.<

I could wait for sandy i suppose. jus an upgrade itch, as always this time of year

I'd be astonished if you got £150 for a C1 920. It's not a very exciting upgrade even if you do go for it to be honest. Blow the £100 on second hand water cooling instead, hours of entertainment

I got my last D0 for £85 they average £100 gives you an idea of their price. And yes they are the same C0/D0 are just different steppings that need more voltage.
