Hey, so i'm being forced to upgrade my cpu/mb and ram due to my mb dying. (long story short the Gigabyte x58a-UD3R had a design/manufacturing fault which gigabyte wont fix now due to the age of it)

I've been very happy with the 930 and it still holds its own, but it seems very pointless to spend 120ish on another 1366 board.
So i guess i should go haswell, unfortunately I'm a bit short of cash so can't really get the higher end I normally do.

I'm after a MB that is good for OC (have water cooling), dont care about onboard sound, SLI/crossfire etc. I just want a solid board. I'm wary of getting another gigabyte board but I may have just been unlucky with the UD3R.

Also what's a comparable chip to the i7 930 @ 4.5/5 ghz

Have you had a look through the MM, been a few for sale in the last couple of weeks. Or you could just post a Wanted thread.
 
Forgot about the MM, I'll have a look.

Also that board looks very nice, however really don't need the on-board OC tools and the SLI support etc.
