Guys my 950 is clocked to 4gzh but I can't seem to get good tempa from the h50 setup. It idles around 60 and hits the 90s on load. I cleaned the paste and applied mx3 artic silver I have also fitted am additional asaka black apache fan to the rad. Is there a way to apply the paste better or is there any tips as I'm getting a few bsod's

I've got the H50 as well and I found that once under load the i7 temperatures shot up around the low/mid 80's. I then ran the fan in manual (full speed) and had around a 5 degree difference (don't know why). I then removed the fan and replaced it with a single Sharkoon 120mm and had a further drop in temps. I then put a pair of Sharkoons together in a push pull arrangement and now my temps never go above 70 even under full load.

I think it's 1.3v I'n work at the min so have to wait till I get home to check, it's set up for push pull but the tubing is usually quite warm. What way do you guys apply the paste? I just done it with a pea drop and fitted the cooler

Seems to be a varying problem. I could not get any real good results with the H5O no matter what combo I tried. Yet other peeps have really good results!

In the end I just ripped it out, flogged it, and got a decent air cooler instead :(

If your H5O is correctly fitted, try taking the side panel off, if your temps drop its your case air flow thats needs looking into. I had no probs at all with my H50 using x2 Apaches or x1 Viper + x1 Apache.

getting better results now, took off the paste, which went everywhere! (no more pea sized drops for me..... done a thin line across like it says on the artic site now getting around 40 idle and up to 80 load which i think is acceptable
