Following on from my simultaneous CPU/GPU stress testing thread I decided to have a play with IBT (I'm just testing my CPU here, not GPU as well). Frankly, I find it useless. Let me explain. I initially tried standard stress (all tests here with 8 threads) at my P95 24+ hours stable O/C - pass. Next, high stress - pass. Very high stress and max - fail. Oh dear I thought, maybe my O/C is not stable after all, so I set about increasing volts etc, but could not get very high and max stable at this O/C. Next I tested totally default CPU and RAM speeds with both very high and max stress - both fail. Finally, I tested an O/C with a CPU voltage that is known to be P95 UNSTABLE - guess what, IBT standard and high stress pass. Anyone else have similar experiences?

prime and IBT test differently, i have had prime stable but not IBT stable and vice versa.
if you are 8hrs prime stable, i would say your going to be OK under normal usage.
