i7 now considering the price drop?

Well, even IF (a very big if) that is the case, it might end up as the same scenerio as HD5850/HD5870 and the GTX470/480, with Bulldozer coming 2 years late, slightly faster than i7 920, and at a higher price point...

One thing to note is that AMD's advantage of saving money is partly to do with their decent low price motherboard...but with the average mid-price range moving up from average £90 of the 700 range chipset boards to the 800 range chipset board at £110~£120, one would worry what would the pricing of the motherboard with best chipset range for Bulldozer (chipset 900 may be) would be like...
