hi,

would like some advice on my new pc. this is what i have so far, comments and advice welcomed :)
i don't game i do need it for web design photoshop etc. used for a lot of multitasking. priorities silence, efficiency, performance.


silverstone fortress case
i7 860 cpu
gigabyte mobo p55 ud3/4 (cannot decide)
possibly ssd for os drive
3 x 1 tb samsung spinpoints F1 (own)
zalman silent z650 psu or any silent recommendations
4gb corsair memory
sata bluray rw silver

If you're using Photoshop a lot and multitasking, I would get 8GB of ram (with 64 bit OS), for PSU consider BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 650w or Corsair HX650W (both are modular), if you don't need any features of the UD4 the UD3 will be fine.

thanks for the advice. i do not intend to go for the new gfx i am looking at something around the 4550. i want a passively cooled card that will allow me to play hd stuff.
the main thing i want from my mobo is plenty of sata and esata ports.
