Wow thx loads 8Pack for the overclock settings I just got them to work
im sure most guessed already the only trouble with them was operator error lol .. But now im starting to slowly learn my new bios and I also have now found the most important CMOS button ... Lol saving me having to remove a graphic card and then the mb battery each time I mess up my bios setting lol .( and get locked out )
IV tested the overclock on throttle stop bench 1024m and with all my fans set to medium settings , the highest temp on a saw was 74 , does that sound ok ?
Question . Should I now try reducing the vcore a little to make temps and thus fan noise even better ? Or are these settings push to the max already ?
Ps .I'm running the very first set of setting you gave me at the top of this thread and only then from a reset bios , I haven't used any of the other adjustments you have talked about in this thread , if I was to add these extra settings is this going to reduce temps or are they just aimed at increasing stability ( of which I seem to have nailed down right now ) ?
Ps. Please can you tell me what is the best way to measure temps on my machine , I have been using core temp ? Is that a good programme to be using or is their something ells I should be using ?
Thx

Update....
I have got my vcore down to 1.365v and IV not hit any trouble yet ... Max temp is now 72 on TS bench 1024m and only 68 max gaming bf3 on all setting ultra .. This seems good to me but I would like to know what others think , like is it running to hot or not .. Any way I will keep pushing down my vcore tomorrow and see where I end up .
Another update .....
I have noticed when using real temps that my overclock is showing in real temps as only 4.4 ghz and not the 4.8 ghz it is set to in the bios ? I am trying to run it with prime95 ... Any cluse why it is doing this ... I don't seen to have this issue with core temp
