At the moment I run my 12900k with a NH-D15, undervolted (-0.06, not tried any lower yet) and PL2 restricted at 125W, as I will never need all cores maxed. The E cores will handle day to day tasks, mostly in Visual Studio, while the P cores will take care of gaming. I expect both core types to come in to play when running a couple of virtual machines, but I doubt I will ever need more than the 125W limit provides. Cinebench R23 just hits 25k while the CPU doesn't pass 60C. CP2077 pushes the GPU up to 61C, while the CPU naps. The system remains silent throughout.
I'll have a look at setting the vcore sometime in the near future.
