He is using an intel profile, apparently the first one out of 3 you can select. How is the BIOS configured? Is this using one of the Intel profile(s)?
Ahhh ok, thanks for the information1.452v isn't high for a 14900K, though you don't want it running much above that ideally.
That's vid just what the cpu is requesting, what about the cpu voltage at the top showing 1.6v?1.452v isn't high for a 14900K, though you don't want it running much above that ideally.

The hwmonitor i linked in the first post above is after a bios update and on default profile. Below is the bios he used.First make sure you are on the latest bios for the motherboard. Then choose the deafault Intel profile. This should help, but post the results here.
First thing I would do is make sure the bios is fully up to date.Hello, I am the guy who is having the issue. If there is anything i can do & post here please let me know.
appreciate your time.
Wow, well that is annoyingMSi has not yet released a final BIOS with the latest Microcode, here is a reddit thread complaining about it https://www.reddit.com/r/MSI_Gaming/comments/1g13u5p/intel_0x12b_microcode/
You may be able to find a beta BIOS with the latest microcode.
Once they do release a final BIOS, download the BIOS and then use the Intel default profile.
This option is in the latest BIOS with the 0x12B microcode update released two days ago for my MSI Pro z690-A DDR4 and I set mine to 1.4 though monitoring with HWiNFO mine never goes above around 1.189 before and after setting it to 1.4vmake sure he has the latest bios of course:
I believe MSI bios's (possibly not all i dont know)
have this kind of option:
as various guides etc are around, undervolting is also a common tweak with 14th gen.
but the simplest way is to limit max voltage with one setting. 1.4V would do the trick probably.
