About to give up waiting and just go buy some thermal paste or reapply some MX4 to put the system back together again, I did do the MX4 temp tests and was only waiting to do the ICD tests and was going to re-paste a friends GTX 680 as a test too. All sat here waiting to be done for over soon 3 weeks. :rolleyes: Waiting till Saturday then I give up. Will just reapply MX4.

A shame I took part last time with the ICD tests and I ended up again purchasing the ICD to add my results because the give away was over. I did the AS5 to ICD tests then.

hey fella, as i have said twice. WHY NOT just pop around to my HOUSE? and collect the tubes?
 
Right Purgatory i send all tubes in the EXACT order i received the trust message.

65 TUBES have been sent out in ORDER and your name isnt on them buddy.

I will take t he time and PASTE the username of EVERYONE whom has been sent a t ube thus far!

I cannot find the receipt for the 11 sent:) however as you can plainly see that the TUBES HAVE been sent!

Other than posting FIRST CLASS RECORDED delivery (of which costs will be prohibitive) for each sample then I am at a loss really.

NOTE ALL samples have been sent at the time when I received the message in my inbox via my email. Which may not be the order they appear on here.

APPLICATION METHOD


For all those participating in the ICD/ giveaway, please follow this link to the Innovation Cooling website for more information on the products:

Innovation Cooling

Proper application is the key to this product. The nature and
consistency of this product is likely quite different from what most of
you are used to in a Thermal Compound. We don't
recommend use of traditional methods of applying the TIM like razor
blades, lines, Rice size, etc. ARE ALL Big BIG NO NO's. Through extensive end user testing, the best overall application method
has been determined to be a pea sized amount directly in the center of
the CPU. The TIM should be adequately spread via the down force of the
CPU cooler (a sufficient amount of down force will provide best results; minimum 50psi of down force should be the goal for optimum results.

coolers/surfaces that have many peaks and valleys, it may be beneficial
to wet the surface(s) with a small amount of ICD/Perihelion to initially fill the voids in the mounting surfaces...then proceed with recommended application as usual. Please click on the link below for application
methodology and shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
Keep in mind, ICD/Perihelion has been formulated with the specific goals
of providing superb thermal conductivity with short set times, but also
for long term stability and performance without pump/bake out through
extended thermal cycling or usage. This stuff is very stable over long
periods of time.

HOW TO POST RESULTS


THE FORMAT IS AS FOLLOWS (ALL TEMPS IN C):

OPTIONAL INFO: PROCESSOR, VOLTS/CLOCKS, HEAT SINK/COOLING USED, ETC.

Added 5/22 - Cure Time- Cure Time averages 2 hours in most situations
for sinks with adequate pressure loading with maybe .5C more overnight.
Lightly pressure loaded sinks may take a day or more depending on the
amount of pressure


If you have any problems or need support, please feel free to post here
for now. Remember, proper application and good even heat sink pressure
(goal should be minimum of 50psi or more) are crucial for peak performance. Too much or too little compound will impact your
results so please do visit the Innovation Cooling website for
Application Instructions with images and explanations. For those with
direct touch heatpipe coolers, you might want to try wetting the contact surface of the cooler with a tiny amount of ICD to fill any small voids before proceeding with the normal application method.

Hey everyone. i CAN only apologise about this:(

If one recalls the photographs of the receipt of the stamps I sent out in the last batch, the teller at the post office must have undercharged me.

Got my tube! , currently just ran two quick tests It's a really warm day and I have an attic room , plus I don't normally game or bench at this time of day so temps are higher than normal. Currently have my CPU clocked @ 4.4ghz

Standard generic paste that came with the Antec 620, shows idle temps for the day (just browsing) and a round on BF4. Done around 1pm

It will be interesting to see how the IC-Diamond 24ct performs.

Rad is cooled by 2x Gentle Typhoon 1850's at 1300rpm.

Was going to de-dust my PC when I changed the paste over but don't know how much that will mess with results?

Hey folks

Next batch and possibly LAST ONES go out TOMORROW! I will send them ALL in padded envelopes this time (as someone said Royal MAUL=GRR) I can only apologise for the complete mess up with the office teller. THing is you are all getting them now and that is what counts!

I will post a photo of the next batch plus of the receipt also just in case!

Regarding above gentleman. YES dusting out your pc WILL invalidate your results..... ALL tests have to be duplicated please.

Hello there

If it is after the first 100 there will be nothing I can do I am afraid.

I wish we could extend it after the 100, however we feel that 100 free tubes PLUS a extra tube for those whom complete a test using a gpu or motherboard test is very generous as is.

great, as i mentioned before on a graphics card one needs to burn in the paste for four hours on full load before the paste is properly cured:)
