iCal PC Alternatives

I connected my iPhone 4 to my GF's MAC to charge and get some photo's off and it did a partial sync of some kind so now i have all her calendar entries on my device. When i sync the iPhone with my non-mac laptop (XP), the calendars aren't removed - they just stay there.

I'm looking for some kind of iCal alternative i can on my PC which doesn't utilize Outlook. So i can wipe her calendars off there, and have my own on.

The best thing I can think of doing is using google calendar. It's not a Windows client but I ahve been using it myself for a long period of time now and it's just brilliant.

Just look for Google Sync online and it tells you how you can use the Exchange support on the iPhone to automatically sync your calendar to your device.

Google cal is great and export your ical into it so it is ready to go.

You can then have imap from the computer and the iphone through the cloud so all devices are up to date. You can have multiple google calendars, so you can categorise your events easier. These can each be synced or not depending on your needs.
