ICC Champions trophy SA **Spoilers**

If NZ had Vettori, especially for bowling this score wouldn't be THAT bad, but without him, it's gonna be very, very tough.

At least they have Mills next up, and this partnership is going very well, last few overs. Lol, silly mistake.

Make that 174-8...Hauritz getting the wicket....200 is a bit too much for the Kiwis now i think.

Bit of a let-down tbh, along with the final, for god-knows what reason, being held on a Monday

Not a bad tournament I must admit, despite my initial cynicism, though the final unfortunately (partially out of the organisers control I admit - namely Vettori being out) seems a bit farcical.

Mills can hit sixes, but he's pretty hit & miss. I think they know they're pretty screwed, and will probably just keep hitting, either that or try a run a ball near enough.

Oh dear Ferguson just took a nasty fall...looks like hes twisted his right knee pretty badly...might have to stretcher him off.

187-8 so should make 200 i imagine..unless they lose their 2 last wickets quickly.

EDIT: Nope hes ok, walking off the field so no stretcher.

Bye bye Mills...another wicket gone...Ponting with a great throw at the stumps:eek:...187-9...

Well Bond can't hit the ball, so gonna be though to get 200. Unless NZ's bowling is the best it's been for years, they're screwed.

Kiwis finish at 9 for 200. That's a respectable result in the face of a powerful opposition.

Beeb says Punter & Co. will be fined again! :p

The Aussies can barely hit the ball at the moment. You would have thought anyone could walk to 200 in 50 overs, but right now, even that looks like a challenge.

EDIT: That said, NZ are taking Bond off now, and Mills surely won't be too far behind. Now is their chance.

The aussies are definitely starting to get the upper hand now. NZ desperately need a wicket soon if they're to keep them pegged in.
