The geysers are pretty fun and really close to Gulfoss falls.
Hallgrimskirkja is pretty imposing and worth a walk by as its smack in the middle of the city and easy to get too. My kids enjoyed going up to the top.
as said already take lots of money...this meal of 4 breadbowl soups, 1 beer and 3 cokes cost £84...yup its pricey.

The blue lagoon was a firm fave by the family..though personally I loved Gulfoss falls.
it is really worth going to the local super market called Bonus (pink pig signs) for any extras you need.
Oh and dont buy anything gifts wise at the blue lagoon there is a duty free shop at the airport on the way home.

We managed to see the northern lights 3 times. 1st night on a tour and we got told what to look for. the 2nd night we just got lucky and the 3rd night we where told by the hotel to go to the promenade with the city behind you and its pretty easy to see the lights...funny things is all the drones of the photographers vying for the best shot.
Loved Reykjavik and want to explore more of the island.
