ich habe ein neues Auto

Oooh, that's very nice. I do like Boxsters a lot, and that looks a very nice example. I'm counting the days until my son moves away from home and I can look at cars that don't have to come with back seats.

I wish the sort of money I find down the back of the sofa would stretch to £21k ;)

Very nice mate

I would like one of these but the only ones in my price range are far too old or have been to the moon and back ...

Enjoy :)

Mine's a 55 plate with 27k on the clock. Paid £21k for it which included warranty and a major service (normally £600 as it includes spark plugs and brake fluid change). I bought it from RSJ Sports Cars in Slough who were brilliant, the quality of their cars is outstanding. Every single car is detailed (not valeted, a proper Swissol detail) and they look better than new, not a single swirl mark on any of them.

That's awesome :) Congratulations.

Love the 3.2s Boxster - great cars, I'd have one myself if I had the dosh to buy/run one. Would be interesting to see what your running costs are tbh.

I don't think they'll be any more than the TT was. Tyres are similar prices, petrol is better on the Boxster (more than 10mpg better so far), servicing is between £400 and £600 every 2 years, brakes are quite expensive I guess but it's not like you need to replace them all that often anyway.

My insurance is £100 per year more on the Boxster than the TT but it's worth more than twice as much so I was expecing that anyway.

I think it's an absolutely excellent car and it'll prove to be a more worthy companion than the TT was. Just dont forget to chucke at those who'll inevitably call it a poor mans 911 and a hairdressers car, before they walk off and step into a Vauxhall Corsa or something.
