Hi guys,

I'm on the original Macbook CoreDuo and currently running snow leopard (OSX 10.6.8), unfortunately this spec Macbook is unable to upgrade to the current OSX and iCloud does not seem to be working with snow leopard. Mail doesn't grab my @me emails and iCal does not sync with my IP4.

Does anyone know a way around this? It seems silly for me to buy a new mac just to have icloud working properly.

Thanks,
Michael

Nope. Time to buy a new Mac.

One of mine is still on Snow Leopard so I aint moving from .Mac to iCloud until they force me at gunpoint.

My wife's 2007 MacBrook scraped through to Lion but won't run Mountain Lion. Thankfully she doesn't use iCloud but unfortunately I do on my account on the laptop.

The MacBook is still going strong so I guess it will stick with Lion. No point throwing money at upgrading to an Air as the little fella is still fighting fit.

I like iCloud but still use Google Apps for mail and calendar sync between computers and phone, so you don't have to miss out on good push e-mail and calendar just because you can't use iCloud.
