Yeah im the same, my iTunes is registered with a gmail account and I also have a mobile me account. However, I'm fairly sure you can change your email address in iTunes though which would fix the problem - would need to check though.

You can, but it won't let you change it to an @me.com address as all me.com accounts already have an Apple ID associated with them. I'm another one in the same boat, use my gmail for itunes (and have for years) but also have a mobileme account.

Really hoping they will allow account merging, or it's going to be a right PITA.

Weird. I was signed in and using it yesterday - now says the same as what Feek posted.

Strange indeed. From my phone it still looks like I'm signed in to the service.

I tried it yesterday and it kept sending me to a non-existent page when I tried to import my details. So meh. Guess I have to wait until launch.
