Has anybody used them?

Considering studying to improve some GCSE grades to get ready for university. They've seemed very helpful in communications and the reviews I've seen seem really good but I don't know how accurate the sources are.

What are peoples thoughts on them?

I'm restricted by hours as I have a full time job I can't reduce the hours on for colleges and they start in September if they have enough people to do it.

I can get it for les than £600 for the 2 GCSE's as they are normally £400 each but a Jan sale. I can take the tests in June and then resits in Nov.

It offers a lot more flexibility for me as I have to train for a London-Paris charity cycle ride for Scope in July and I have a full time job I can't reduce hours on because of threat of redundancy.

Why don't you check with your local college and let them know of your circumstances they may be able to help you with you not needing to attend all lessons.

I've never used them.

Took the plunge - £6-700 inc exam fees.

See what happens now...

Worst that can happen is I waste £700 and time studying until June. Best thing that can happen is I can continue pursuing a new career.

Got an interview next week as well for becoming a HGV driver with my company and doing the tests etc. If successful that could work out well as I could do HGV work at weekends and possibly study at university in the week. I have a house etc so I can't live on nothing. It'll be tough but hopefully I can manage it.

All of this is building towards emigrating to Australia. If I have a HGV license and experience it could get my foot in and I could study over there maybe?

I'm keeping my options open.
