Have a piece of junk 1200 duron pc running 2000pro, a lappy with xp pro on a wireless connection to O2, cannot get the connection to share with the old pc! I can see the workgroup on xp but not on 2000 any ideas?

Network as such is nothing due to issues, all I am looking to do is set up the 2000 machine as a proxy server and connect through it to my laptop on wireless connection. Sorry haven't had chance to look on here for weeks!
