This one is short n sweet - Anyone know if you can use a SATA II drive in the caddies that just say SATA? Presumably you can but it will be at the lower speed?
Yeah you should be able to use SATA II drives. As for speed, SATA is around 150MB/s so as long as each hdd caddy has a separate 150MB/s channel for each hdd, you won't get anywhere near that cap.
