I received my Icy Dock MB877SK-B today and after a test run I am pleased that it works but one thing is annoying the **** out of me, how can such a small fan make such a loud pitched whirring sound that is audible over everything else in my system and is even audible whilst im watching a program.
Is it possible to turn the fans on these things off ?

Just trying to transfer some stuff over and its going at a rate of 7mb/s, what the hell ?

I dont know if its because im trying to use 6TB drives or not but this is supposed to support 8TB and honestly it doesnt sound right and it is too inconsistent, I will try switching from the Asmedia ports to the Intel ports tomorrow and if I have no luck ill have no choice but to return and get my money back.
