Icybox doesnt work in USB mode

Hi guys,

I have an Icybox IB361. Plugged in via eSATA, it works great. When I plug it into any of my computers via USB, though, they simply act as though it doesnt exist. It is plugged into the mains as well.

What have I done wrong?

There isn't a switch you click over from sata to usb as i heard some have that?

It might be defective.

I had to send a USB IcyBox back to OcUK a few months ago.

That's the IcyBox that you can't easily switch between USB and eSATA, you need to open it up and swap the drive onto the other internal SATA cable.

You are joking? I was under the impression this was the new super duper improved no hassle Icybox, which is why I had to wait for it to come out...

Hmmm, how many SATA connectors are there inside the unit?
