I'm hopefully getting my hard drive setup soon, it'll include some sort of external 500GB for backups.
As the external will be used quite a bit to backup an internal media 500GB hard drive USB2.0 will be a bit slower than I'd like, so eSATA should do the trick.
I just wondered if these Icybox eSATA enclosures are good? Reliable, fast, etc.?
What kind of speeds should I expect out of it?
EDIT
Also, will the Icybox give sufficient cooling to transfer say... 200GB+ of data in one backup session?
Thanks,
Craig.
