Playing Blueray films
Is this unit capable of playing/streaming large format films?

I was going to use this unit for copying my DVD BRay collection so that I can take it on holiday and play the films through my new HD samsung. But it doesn't even seem to work properly on the PC. Hopefully I'm just doing something wrong

The full HD films 6GB+ take over a minute to start, (if they start at all), and then they stop & start, the video and audio go out of sync and usually end up crashing windows media player. These films are usually mkv format which work fine when played directly from the PC's HDD.

Music and pictures all work ok. As do smaller avi files (350Mb).

Tried this on two PC's one running vista 64 and the other on windows 7 32bit
Icybox has 2x Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB SATA-II 64MB Cache
I've tried connecting through the router which is an old linksys and also through a netgear gig switch. The switch was obviously a bit faster but the end result was the same

I did upgrade the firmware before formatting the HDD's

Any ideas because as things are at the moment this is of no use to me what so ever.

Also where do I find the licence for the twonky software or is it only a trial that is included?

ok it looks like I've brought the wrong bit of kit. The Icybox NAS 3221-b isn't what I needed to stream and store my films on, for playing on the new TV.

So can anybody advise me on what sort of enclosure I would need?

It needs to:
Be able to house both the Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB SATA-II 64MB Cache (at least then I'll have only wasted the money for the icybox)
It needs to have a USB out.
Needs to be fast enough to play Full HD films
Needs to accept the drives in NFTS format.

Basically as far as the TV is concerned it just needs to look like a huge USB flash drive

Oh and if possible it should look nice. If not I guess I can always hide behind the TV.
