IDE to SATA

Hi friends.

I happen to have a spare Serilell2 IDE adapter from my ABIT NF7Srev2 mobo.
I have never used this with a IDE harddrive, but from what I gather it upgrades the IDE device to SATA?

Has anyone tried these? Are they reliable? I think I might have spilled some coffe on it, you reckon it could cause problems?

Cool, thanks for the replies. Will use the SATA interface as the cables are smaller and cater for better airflow and so on.

I have sugar in my coffe!
