ide to sata

Recently rebuilt my pc and only had one sata drive to carry games & operating system. The mother board only supports connection to Sata.. is there anyway i can still connect up my old IDE harddrives as i have loads of them laying around.

Will only be used for storage, so speed doesnt effect me. Im basically trying to spend as little as possible, because its not all that important

You can get IDE to SATA converters. Or just get an enclosure/dock for them.

I just looked around google. I can buy them for as little as £4.99 i assume they are perfectly decent?

They can be a bit hit or miss tbh but worth a try for a fiver sure

Just make sure you set the pins on the drives to master for them to work.

If you've got a few drives, might be worth it to get a PCI IDE controller card.
