Guys,

Upgraded my whole system two weeks back and in the next 3 days i will be adding a new card , But what card should i get for gaming and high def content (Blu-Ray)??.Plus a bit further down the line i would like to have a crossfire set up.

Rig
Intel Core i5 OC to 4.1ghz
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 Mobo
Corsair 4GB XMS3 DDR3 1600 Dual Channel RAM
Corsair HX 850W PSU
Corsair H50 High Performance Water Cooler
Blu Ray Rom
1x80gb Maxtor HDD
1x300gb Maxtor HDD
Radeon X1950Pro 512mb GPU
Coolermaster Storm Scout Case

My first Choice was the 5850 followed by 5870 and the 4870x2 , I have a budget of around £250 to £350 , i also want to get a SSD system drive at somepoint aswell . Also , i dont know what cards will fit in my case!! i know for sure the 5970 wont fit in there!!

It would be the 5850 then mate. Such a cracking card. I can't see spending £100 on a 5870 with only upto 10fps in games, not worth it. You can however oc the 5850 which will be the same performance as the 5870.

5850 gets my vote mate.!!! :D

Thanks , the 5850 is the way i am swinging right now , how much of a performance improvement is this card over my 1950 pro 512?? the 1950 pro scores 6.0 on my windows index

i don't know how much improvement but you would see a HUGEEEE performance boost. I'm guessing around 5x more than your 1950.

The window scores mean nothing mate, so don't go off that.
