Ideas for a hardcore rave costume ala Beastie Boys - Intergalactic video

Right, I'm off to a hardcore night in a couple of weeks and I want to go in proper rave costume.

Been thinking about tryna sort out stuff to go as one of the Beastie Boys such as:

But this is done quite often so I want something slightly more original if possible. Musical references costumes like Beastie Boys get bonus points...I'm definitely after something that appeared in a cult video etc etc.

Soo.....brainstorm!
 
White coveralls, white gloves and clamshell 'deedas, and an industrial dust mask with a jar of Vicks Vaporub taped to the front.

Mix it up.

However, if you end up getting beatsy costumes, it's expected that you find an escalator and throw some shapes :p (I try to always throw shapes when riding the escalator).


You could try dressing as:

Ooh here's a decent one (being as the beastie get-up was a homage to..). Devo. Nice and simple lol:

Hehe, me and 2 mates went as the Beastie Boys for Halloween, was an excellent night. Plus we won free entry for the club from now on for costume of the night :d.

Yes we know we got the sash wrong, but damn the double ones are hard to find!
 
I reckon you're Beastie number three.

He looks uncomfortable in such a prominent social situation; almost as if he were cajoled into being there.

D'oh your wrong! Your logic is flawed, i <3 social situations, all ocuk is to me is another social situation :p. I'm sure it is for many users on here that frequent the 'life' section anyway.

Just realised the '<3' in that post probably isnt helping my case.
