I actually really like that saloon, it looks seriously cool :eek:

Hate the stupid VW next to it though..

Do you have more pictures of it Penski? (i cannot honestly believe i am asking this!)

Do they do a convertible which looks anything like that?

If you really want a old skool Saloon it has to be an old Mercedes, something like a 190E.

Old BMW's are money pits, old Saabs are nasty, but old Mercedes were built like the best cars in the world - becuase they were.

The 190E is the first of the built-to-a-budget Mercs and the start of all the build quality woes they've had over the last 20 years.

As I mentioned above, the W123 is the one to go for.

The W123 is really quite nice. How much would a mint-ish one tend to go for? What engines do they come with? Is rust a big problem on them?

Do you have any other pics of them on modern wheels?

There's a W123 pillarless coupe...Can't remember if there's a convertible or not.

Buy that 3 litre diseasle estate - it will literally run to 500k on the clock.

My neighbour ran 2 190's for 16 years, never heard him complain about them at all and he just changed to a newer Merc probably just because he has far too much money
