Ideas for new email address

the account administrator email address is the address you will log in with when you want to read your email or perform administration.

It doesn't matter what you choose, the idea is you can let other people have addresses at your domain as well and they would have a seperate e-mail address, but if it's just you, you will still get all the catch-all e-mail, as long as the option is enabled.

(without the spacing, don't want to have you getting spam already)

Then when it's set up you will have a login page which looks like this one, except for your own website instead of mine:
http://mail.google.com/a/blamethepixel.com/

and in the login box, that is the email address you will use to login. you don't have to use that address for anything else though, people will be able to send email to any address at your domain and it will still go to you if it is set up.

I'm assuming that's what that field is for anyway, although it's hard to tell without some context. If that's not it then it will be your hotmail address

Thanks for your help man, but iam still abit confused.

So the domain I juts brought is mejimwhite.co.uk I put [email protected] into 'email address' box here

 
You're just creating an email address. I guess this would be the main administrative one for Google Apps on the mejimwhite.co.uk domain.

Think of an email address you want e.g. [email protected]

This email address will then be created, as at the moment it is not.
 
but I would recommend you don't start writing example e-mail addresses on forums everywhere if you are going to have a catch-all because the spambots will pick it up ;)

although google mail filtering is pretty good. Only get 1 or 2 spams a week.

Is there not a help link on the page which describes this? If not, just try it. If it doesn't work you will know it was wrong... It's quite a lot quicker than waiting for people on a forum to make guesses :p

Trying to set this up again, forgot about it until now as I was just getting confused and gave up :(

Anyways, hopefully you helpful people can help me reslove this, so from memory ive got as far as buying @mejimwhite.co.uk and sort of setting up google apps-this might help


Ive still not been able to setup the gmail interface yet so any help would be great, thanks
