Ideas for the future

Well it would have been useful if you could have written in English, as it would have saved me needing to use Bablefish to convert from chav, but whatever.

So let me get this right, you're most interested in power to weight ratio? Why would you possibly want to take this to a track, unless you're talking about a drag strip. .

yep thats what i ment sorry :) wouldnt mind abit of track now and then for the fun

Yes paradigm. Can't you see we are talking about a fine piece of automotive history here. This will be the talk of the McDonalds car park.

:p

:D haha dont be forgetting the best around haha (jke for none sarci people)
I was thinking of scrappage scheme but was only like 6 months out haha :p

It is true and your video proves it, the corsa is only quick in a straight line. The evo has it in the corners whilst the corsa is all over the place.

yep i think some got miss understood ment track for mainly drag eg york dragway santa pod etc but i would use it for track every now and then for the fun of it.:D

All jokes aside, i'd want the car to be atleast colour matched, its all over the place atm, just look at the front bumper vs the wing, its a different shade of paint!

Sorry, I missed making the other point that I'd intended to. Imagine you spend say £3k on a turbo conversion for your shopping trolley. Just how much of that £3k do you think it'll retain in value in say a year.
Blow the extra dosh on a better car and it'll certainly be worth more at a later date.

Still, it's your dosh and we can only suggest our opinions that spending any dosh on that is a complete waste of time.

That will be the light from the sun and the quality of the camera :)

Even if you made it quick it'd hardly be a sleeper.

A stock Cosra badged with 1.0 on the rear and a blanket on the parcel shelf would be a potential sleeper.

Put a progressive nitrous system on it, if the engine's in good order then you could probably run a nice 50-75BHP shot for dragging, and maintain the otherwise driveable nature of the engine. A 2nd hand WON (Wizards of Nitrous) kit and progressive controller would do the job very nicely - probably get the whole lot for about 200-400 quid.

Works nicely on the strip too because it only kicks in (well, if you set it up that way) after launching, then ramps up gradually - maintaining traction and giving you much improved mid-range pull to get down the sprint quickly. Puts very little additional stress on the drivetrain (provided it's in good order) and doesn't aggravate traction issues as a result. Boosts torque considerably too (as well massively reducing intake temperature as well, further improving performance) so it really adds a considerable whack to any engine.

If you do get any slip (clutch or driving wheels) then you can just downsize the jets or alter the timing until it works perfectly every time.

You can do the whole "ZOMG PURGE PURGE SPRAY AWESOME" thing too if you must as well then :p

Could put a little more into lightening/brakes/suspension too, just to round the package up.

Yep im happy with that just wondering what people would do thats all :)

also in mind past few week been looking at the evo 6 and 7 just like them style old school evos

Have you actually enquired as to the price of insurance on a modified corsa with a turbo?

With the insurance companies method of statistics and profiling it'd probably be cheaper to insure said Evo 6/7 :p
