identify a car for me

Hiya went for a little drive a minute ago round some ridgeway I hadnt been before and came upon three old beautiful cars, one I know was a rover 213 cant remember the other but I want help with I.d.ing the first one, basically it looked a lot like a ford anglia but it had a big triumph logo on the front?,

The Rover 213 was a great car for Rover, it was based on the Honda Ballade and it went pretty well. The 213 had the 1.3 Honda 12v engine which was a rock solid motor, but the bodywork around the windscreen and the rear arches would rust through long before the motor gave up the ghost. The 216 version had the rover 1.6 montego engine, that was not a good engine!!

Loved the old 213, let it rest in peace. :D

they were 2Lt cars with twin headlamps, in my younger days a friend had a 12/75 (1200cc and 75 BHP) soft top.It was great in the summer but damp in the winter. They were one of the last cars to be built with a seperate sub chassis and so were good as donor cars for kits.
 
I think I have ided the other as a reliant scimitar gte never even knew reliant did any cars like that!, its so tempting to go down and ask who owns them as a project car or something, the rover was last taxed in 94 :p but the herald is pretty well rusted at the sills
 
My old man used to have a Scimitar GTE, as did Princess Anne!

Quite good cars, used the ford essex V6, although you can throw a rover V8 in there to make them go like the wind.

There was one on ebay a while back with a chevy V8 in it.

Yea would be an awesome but expensive project, may go down there and ask who owns them, would be amazing to do :) apart from the point i couldnt get insurance on it till im 21 :p

Right I went back armed with my camera to take pictures of the three cars I mentioned in my other thread I had a nose around the place and found like a million more cars just stored up, mostly rover V8s (I want :p ) and triumph heralds there were a few others mixed up in the bunch to I just had the biggest smile on my face ever :p :D and thought I would post a few pictures as well,
