Identify this chilli

Why can't they sell anything higher (I assume you mean on the scoville scale?) than a scotch bonnet?

I think he meant that they won't as the majority of people don't like much heat (obviously most of us on here are the exception rather than rule).

I can't imagine that there's any law that means that they *can't* sell them.
 
My quick shops in Tesco while kids are at school are Fridays so I checked while I was there.

The hotter chilli's have to be sold outside super markets like Tesco, They need a licence as like the ghost chilli you are not insured by the nhs of stupidity.

I was told this by a old mate, but that was some ears ago, I'm not sure what it's like now but i know the highest is bonnets as i ask when they are going to get hotter one's in and they keep saying they cannot take the chance.

If you look on the bottles of "so called" hotter chilli sorce then it will 50/50 say licensed seller. even on chilli's sites they need to be licensed.
