It's very similar to Frutiger Bold, the only differences being (for the characters used there anyway) is the dot in the i in Frutiger is square, and the cut of the e's lower section is straight... its close enough other than that it might even be a redrawn clone of Frutiger.
Edit: hah, yeah, so its exactly the same other than those details you had interest in! ... I missed that bit in your post.
Yup for my Graphic Design course I needed a specific font, for each individual set it was going to cost $40 and for the whole family it was closer to $300!
