Here let them figure out why most peeps get MRSA in hospital before confusing them with technology.

Actually most people in hospital with MRSA are community based (they came in with it).

Faxes do still have thier uses though its definitely not the preferred option these days. Oh and those with the funky multifunctional printers, most will forward incoming faxes to email these days. Saves losing the fax in the forest of paper that usually comes out of these machines.

Still use fax in my office, but it's a useful tool because sometimes paperwork can be lodged at court by fax.

Would love to know what this gadget is though if it isn't a fax....

Yeah we receive our faxes in our email inbox. Down side is that everyone in the department gets it, but that also has it's pros as well because you tend to just open it up if it's not for you and check it anyway. And if the intended recipient isn't in the office and it's quite an urgent matter at least you can then bring it to somebody else's attention.

I was at a clients recently and they had an intresting gadget - it was connected to the phoneline/network connection and it recieved commands from head office and printed them out onto thermal paper. It wasn't connected to a PC at all. Anyone know what it's called?
