Hi all,

I don't know if this is the best place to post, but I'm interested in the project I found at https://www.hifiberry.com/maker-contest/contest-2017/4-zones-multiroom-player/.

You can see from the pic...

... that a PSU is supplying the power to the 4x Raspberry Pi's and the Netgear switch. I'm interested to find out more about how that's done, the connections on the side of the PSU, and what PSU that is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Edward

It is an open frame power supply commonly use in cctv and LEDs power supply.

You can get the amp that is mounted on top of the pi from hifiberry .

Looks like when you use that model of the amp it will also supply power to the pi, and the amp only requires a supply of 12v to 18v.

All the amps are wired in parallel including the Netgear.
