My wife once wasted my entire Sunday by being dumb enough to flush tampons down our ensuite toilet, over a period of about 6 months, unbeknownst to me.
In the process of plunging, augering, and dumping caustic soda, as well as pulling up clumps of disintegrated tampons soaked with faeces, I managed to split / disconnect the waste pipe under the (tiled) floor, causing a leak of foul water all over the garage ceiling below, running the plasterboard.
I was angry I tell thee.
