Idiot on the Nurburgring

Aye, well you have to be a pretty bad driver to constaly have a FWD drive car go tail happy, a really bad drive, imagine him in a RWD, he would probably have topped himself by now.

Whilst the guys driving is nothing short of terrible given it was a TF day, the quickest way to drive a FWD on track is to have oversteer on turn in.

That oversteer is generated by trail braking and/or having the car set up to have a loose rear end on turn-in. However, that's not what's happening in the video, he's simply going too fast for his ability.

Tbh, I think people fail to see it's the worst of 29 laps, 29 laps is what, 4-5 hours of driving ?

Ignoring the silly yellow flag behaviour, I hardly think it's so bad.

Would you rather have him do stuff like that on the public road ? While not fast, what's wrong with fast in slow out for fun or making a mistake once in a while? Mind that I have no experience of driving on track ( bar karts, which I do quite often :p), but I think people exaggerate, so what that his corner technique is rubbish in that vid, it's just a compilation of the worst out of 29.

Technically speaking he is on a public road

Technically speaking he is on a public road
One-way public road with no speed limit as it was described to me by an instructor when I was there long time ago.

Or 'the Isle of Man but with trees and Armco instead of houses and stone walls' as a British lad put it :p
