Idle GPU temps with cold snap.

25c on the gpu, (fan profile enabled). 25-27c on the CPU. Ambient temp of 22c. Finding this new setup to be much cooler than my old 4790k.

The real kings of cool are my Fury Xs with waterblocks.

On a hot day they run at 35cto 36c flat out.

I will give them a run later to see how low they are running at.

Isn't the furyx a pretty cool and quiet card with its stock cooling solution? Will look much better though in a custom watercooling setup.

Was 8c when I woke up this morning in my room, didn't fire up the PC but from previous experience it's only a few degrees about room ambient at this time of year when first booted up. Air cooled.

8c, dang that's a bit nippy. I ducked out of the house last night at 9.00 or so for a quick smoke, -3 so yes it was a very quick smoke. Got back into the lovely warmth of 22c.

Would have been a good evening to open the windows and do a spot of benching though.

The standard Fury X IIRC runs at about 55c flat and is very quiet and very impressive.

Unfortunately the stock AIO coolers did not last long on mine and were replaced by waterblocks which seen to work better than on any other card I have used them on. This could have something to do with the HBM being very close to the GPU and easier to cool the whole lot but that is only my guess.

With the arrival of Pascal users are going to have a lot more room in their cases. As you can see the Fury Xs are tiny in their single slot configuration.

I want 2 of those Fury X's. They are lovely :(

With waterblocks they take up less room than the Nano because the power connectors are on top not at the end.

They are also good overclockers with W/Bs on stock volts and can hit 1150 which is about the same as the 290X.

mines sits any where between 27 to 30 depending on the heating being on or not. my pc sits in the coolest corner of the lounge
