IE 11 eating memory up - all add ons disabled

IE 11 just seems to eat and eat memory >1GB after some time, it just keeps rising until it starts playing up

Most things I have seen refer to add ons so I disabled all those but it's still a problem

any ideas?

Have you tried a reset ?

by reset do you mean uninstall and reinstall?

No, in the options there is a reset setting, maybe that will help.
also how many tabs do you have open, the more open the more ram used
