IE keeps crashing

I use IE on my computer, (please leave jokes at the door I dont want to get Firefox or anything thankyou) and the last few days it keeps coming up with the message

"IE7 has encountered an error and needs to close"

and then I have to click on send error report or dont (I dont send the report)

It did it like half a dozen times yesterday evening and then its just done it again today.

My virus protection is up to date and running. (I have the new AVG) and I have windows defender (again which is up to date and working fine)
I havent changed anything on my PC in recent weeks other than the usual deleting of cookies etc.

Can anyone advise me as to why it might be doing this, its really bugging me because the only thing I can do is click on the "dont send error report" and then restart my browser.
 
I would advise trying to re-install it. You can probably search IE7 download in google and get a link to the setup files you need to run install.

Failing that, check your PC log and give the exact error message.

Right click My Computer--> Manage--> Event Viewer

You should see options there for "Application" and "Internet Explorer".


When IE next gives you jip, just check those logs and get the error message and paste it here.

Failing that, try firefox for a little while and see if it does the same thing ;)
 
two problems, you're using AVG and you're using IE7

Avast & Firefox (with adblock plus and Easylist subscription)

just install them and your problems will vanish, fact
