hmmm, on vista now and using ie7, but coming from opera, I used to middle click on the tabs and it would close, or middle click a shortcut and it would load a new tab.

I'm pretty sure it was doing this yesterday (havent slept for like 3 days so, i might be thinking things) but yeah, how do you, if its possible set it up to do so?

Cool I didn't know you could do that. Works in firefox as well.

Don't know why yours isn't working though. (not very helpful, I know :o )

opera works in vista yeah, but thought id give ie7 a go as its not that bad to use.

Thinking of going back to opera now :P

I hate IE7 with a passion
1. the tool bars seem badly layed out
2. takes 5 seconds to do anything when opening (for me anyway)
3. Increases threat to virsus and spyware/ad-ware

hmm ok it might have been me and my mouse.

Its a 4way scroll, seems you have be direct in clicking in the middle elseit wont work, so if i move the mouse and click im pulling it to the side with my finger to move the mouse :D

I think. Will report back later \o

You can also double click the space next to a tab to open a new tab.
hehe just noticed that little thing on the end of the current tab also :o
Ctrl+T too

iknow but that doesnt open a specific page i want ;)

I found the issue, logitech drivers knocking my mouse about.
Damn mac keyboard and mouse combo :P

For the past 3 years middle click does nothing except give rosetta smooth scroller thingy in all three of my browsers. Puzzled.

middle click a link to load it in another tab. I have mine open external links in a new tab by default but middle click loads it in the background.

One of the reasons I use BT's browser is that it allows me to put the tabs at the bottom of the screen. I'm too lazy to move my mouse to the top all the time!

I did have a problem when I upgraded(well downgraded imo now :( ) to the Lasermouser 6000 from my Intellimouse optical.
When new drivers were loaded it set middle mouse button to open a new window instead of normal "Middle Click"
Maybe its mouse software or button config where the problem lies.
