Just tried to order 5 tickets for the killers in nottingham, i knew in advance that i couldnt order more than 4 in a single order but there are 5 of us going so i thought id order 2 in firefox on one card and 3 in ie7 on the other card

using firefox2 was no issue whatsoever, ie7 on the other hand popped a warning every time the queue page updated (even when i put it in trusted sites!) then when both browsers say im less than 1 minute from the end of the queue IE7 spends a good 40 seconds trying to connect.. fails then the page tried again and i get a processing error

i did get 2 tickets but they're going to my sister and her bf, she really really wants to go and she did tell me about them going on sale but it means im not going myself.. GRRR!!!

Why not just have two firefox windows open, why did you have to use two different browsers?

Probably the way the site is coded, i.e. badly.

I'm not an IE7 fan as I use FF2 but that's the most likely cause of the problem.

Not even two windows, two tabs.. Or even one tab..
I doubt this would work due to cookies, although he could have done one order after the other in FF, deleting the cookies after the first one.

Why can't you just do another order then? Or clear cookies/cache & restart browser?

maybe it logged your ip and after the firefox order went through it blocked anymore (therefor causing IE to time out)
