Hi all,

Been running some Dunu trident's out of my Nexus 5, and the join to the jack has just started working loose - the volume now fluctuates loads when I'm walking with my phone in my pocket and it's doing my head in.

They've made the jack wire poke at a 45 degree angle for some reason, and I thought it'd give up the ghost when I first got them - now it has.

Managed to grab a refund through amazon, but now looking at what to go for next. Probably want to try something a bit more expensive but not sure what...

Any suggestions? Budget up to around £75, but would rather try stuff in the Dunu's price bracket (£30ish) as it'll just be used for work and don't want to be sad if they get knackered :(

Cheers,
Joe.

That's exactly where to order from :) lendmeurears is the only official stockist for VSonic globally :o Quite the monopoly.

Just as well they are so cheap then.

I noticed that Rock Jaw take the same stance, they won't honour warranties if people buy from non-official stockists. A few months back it was really confusing as to who was or wasn't an official stockist as there were several retailers selling them on the rain forest but now the only new models available are from the rainforest themselves (so Rock Jaw). I think that's probably why Penon Audio have more models available, they are still selling old models as well as the new ones.

Are the rock jaw models good? A colleague of mine wants some IEM's but would prefer a wooden housing, had his eyes on the Alfa genus.

I love mine, ultra comfortable up or down (they are tiny) and with a good sound too, or at least one that suits me very well. I did have to mess around with the champagne gold filters (neutral) though as there was too much damping material in them and it sounded as tough I'd stuffed my ears with cheese. I now run them with no damping material, you can just pull it out with a pin, and they sound lovely.
