If AC are only docked 8 points for blatant cheating IN the game...

Very interesting letter, good read. I do believe what he has put and as usual he speaks his mind.

The MOT does sound a bit false for some reason.

Coming from the fan of a club that Leeds are debted to i'm glad that they were deducted points.

They signed Kandol from us for £200k and we've not seen a penny of it, for a small club like Barnet thats a lot of money. Since then Leeds have signed more players and spent more money with legal challenges, whilst STILL not paying a penny to clubs they owe money to.

Last week Kandol scored the winning goal for Leeds in the 89th minute, why should he be playing when he's not been paid for, due to the lack of cash Barnet couldn't afford to sign a decent replacement...yet he is scoring goals for Leeds and earning them points!

The CVA was the only guarantee that existed for us to get the money owed, since Leeds did not have a CVA, then it was right for them to be docked points.

Personally i think they should have retained the transfer embargo until all previous transfer debt is fully repaid.

I get so fed up of hearing Leeds fans whine about their situation without thinking about the small clubs who they have screwed over in the meantime...your club broke the rules twice, take the punishment.

Is that bitterness or do you think it fair?

This is a very good point - however Leeds haven't spent any more except an undisclosed amount for a keeper - we didn't have a keeper on our books before that and still don't have a non-youth reserve! I do feel for the people Leeds United owe money to. It isn't fair how it has worked out.

Leeds own the player and are paying his wages. Why shouldn't he be playing? There must've been an agreement between the clubs.

Leeds did have a CVA  Have you followed any of the story? The tax man wanted Leeds to pay the whole tax bill, which would've meant Leeds going against the agreement with other creditors and would've meant Barnet getting nothing.

So you'd rather kill a club and get nothing anyway? How does that help?

Where exactly did Leeds break the rules, and where exactly have the fans deserved this kind of comment. It isn't us that have taken your player, it isn't us that want Leeds to be in debt to so many people and to be forced into administration.

Even though you have valid points you have let it cloud your judgement. I understand there are knock-on effects from what has happened but there is still no way 25 points docked is fair.

I will freely admit i am bitter and it clouds my judgement, as a season ticket holder it frustrates me to see a team struggling for goals and squad depth because they didn't have any cash in the off-season, having lost the L2 top scorer (at the time) without any recompense. It grates me even more to see him scoring winning goals for you, yes he is paid by Leeds but its been 9 months now without a penny and it feels like the little guy is getting walked over.

Barnet are very open with the fans and i've been reading that over the last 6 months the club has been expecting a cheque that never arrives, so that makes it sound as though whatever agreement was made on the transfer it wasn't honoured, probably because of all the CVA troubles.

I'll be honest and say i don't know the details so i'll retract any comments about the CVA being fair or not. However you can't really take into account the 10 points deducted last year, they took advantage of a loophole that should'nt have existed and in reality got away with no punishment. Personally i think thats half the reason why the league clubs voted against you, it wasn't technically against the rules but it was a dirty little ploy.
